1. Who We Are
Finesse Intel ("we", "us") operates the website at finesseintel.com and related services (the "Service"). This policy describes what we collect and why.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers (e.g. Google OAuth subject) provided when you sign up.
- Workspace data: the RSS feeds, X handles, interest prompts, and notes you choose to add to your workspace.
- Usage data: pages visited, items marked as read, and basic device/browser metadata for reliability and analytics.
- Server logs: IP address, request timing, and error traces, retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
3. How We Use It
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To generate your personalized feed, radar items, and audio briefings.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, security notices).
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your private workspace content to train third-party AI models.
4. Third-Party Processors
We rely on the following sub-processors. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function:
- Supabase (database, auth, storage)
- Cloudflare (hosting, edge runtime, DDoS protection)
- Google / OpenAI (LLM and TTS APIs that process article text and your interest prompts to generate summaries and audio)
- Public RSS publishers and X/Twitter (sources we fetch on your behalf)
5. Cookies & Local Storage
We use first-party cookies / local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember UI preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data Retention
Account and workspace data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 8). Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
7. Security
We use TLS in transit, row-level security in the database, and least-privilege service credentials. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email privacy@finesseintel.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. By using the Service, you consent to these transfers.
10. Changes
We will post material changes to this policy here with an updated date. Significant changes will be announced by email where reasonable.
